We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet team in the exciting and rewarding role of Draughting Officer based in modern Balclutha or Invercargill office.
As the Draughting Officer you will be responsible for Management of Engineering Drawings, including develop and maintain Electrical and Mechanical Engineering drawings under the direction of PowerNet engineers and project managers including line structures, zone substations (up to 66kV) and distribution sites. You will manage the distribution of engineering drawings to consultants and contractors and undertake CAD drawings to maintain updated drawings.
Experience/Knowledge and Skills: • A relevant qualification in Qualifications in electrical or mechanical draughting • Class 1 Full Driver’s Licence (minimum) • Good CAD knowledge (prefer electrical or Civil) • Excellent interpersonal skills • Able to work with a variety of software packages • Understanding of electrical draughting practices, GIS and databases
