    We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet team in the exciting and rewarding role of Asset Information Technician based out of our Invercargill Office in Racecourse Road.

    As the Asset Information Technician you will play a critical role here at PowerNet in assisting with the Asset Management Information System (AMIS) integration, data and reporting functions to provide effective asset planning, creation, operations and disposal actions and decisions. You will be responsible for entering and maintaining the accuracy of data in the IBM Maximo system. Another key purpose of this role is converting the data into information which will allow improved decision making within PowerNet.

    Experience/Knowledge and Skills:
    • University Entrance or NCEA level 2
    • Current Drivers Licence
    • Strong computer entry and data management skills
    • Understanding of databases and MS SQL environment
    • Good communication skills and attention to detail
    • Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills
    • Experience in IBM Maximo system or a similar enterprise is advantageous

    Our Candidate:
    Ideally you have information systems management experience within the electricity industry here in New Zealand, however, if you have information systems management or database experience in a relatable sector, we would love to hear from you.
