    We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet team in the exciting and rewarding role of Management Accountant based in our modern Invercargill office.

    As the Management Accountant you will be responsible preparing PowerNet's monthly financial reports and other reporting information for management as required, such as forecasting, budgeting and analytical information. The role will require interaction across all departments, and assistance with year-end financial reporting and audit requirements.

    Essential Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), CAANZ Chartered Accountant, CPA or studying towards similar qualification

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Management Accounting roles or relevant commercial experience
    • Be proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel)
    • Sound knowledge of financial systems e.g. Finance One
    • Experience working with managers on variance reporting
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills
    • Proactive problem solving skills
    • Experience using PowerBI would be an advantage
