    We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet team in the exciting and rewarding role of Earthing Technician/Civil Operator based in our Gore depot.

    As the Earthing Technician/Civil Operator, you will be responsible for assisting our qualified teams with maintenance on our Earthing systems. At times, you may be required to operate specialised plant and equipment to install pole reinforcement systems across our network.

    • Physically fit to do manual labour, which may include digging, hauling cable, carrying and lifting.
    • Current full drivers licence, preferably with class 2&4 and forklift endorsements
    • Experience working with and operating machinery
    • Keen to learn and work overseeing and supporting external contractors.
    • A passion for working outdoors
    • An understanding of the Health and Safety Act and its application to themselves and others
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
